Task Days - Conservation in Action Right on Your Doorstep

We hold regular task days throughout the year.

  • Tree planting
  • Erecting bird boxes during the winter months
  • Litter collection and clearance during the spring, with Balsom and the meandering pathways being cleared during the Summer
  • Bulb planting and haymaking in the summer.

We have a "bug hotel" (insect refuge), bird tables and bird boxes in many places - see how many you can find!!

Details of the next activity or event can be found on this page below, our Facebook page, The Cheadle SK8 Group and as well as the Gatley Group page. We also pin up notices around the woodland.

Come and join us we would love to see you there!

Bi-Monthly Meetings are held at Elm Road Church, please keep your eye on our Latest News & Events section on the Welcome Page for details of the next meeting.
