Greater Manchester Local Record Centre Workshop Events

During the first half of 2016 the Greater Manchester Local Record Centre will be working with the Friends of Alexandra Park (Whalley Range), the Friends of Cholrton Meadows, Manchester City Council and the Woodland Trust on the Smithills Estate in Bolton, to bring you a varied series of species ID workshops which we hope will appeal to your interest in nature and recording. Here are the details of the first few events:

Winter Bird ID - Boggart Hole Clough SBI, Manchester

Sat 16th Jan (10am to 3pm)

Winter Tree ID - High Shores Clough SBI, Smithills Estate, Bolton

Sat 23rd Jan (10am to 3pm)

Winter Bird ID - Alexandra Park, Whalley Range

Sat 30th Jan (8.30am to 1.30pm)

Fungi ID - High Shores Clough SBI, Smithills Estate, Bolton

Sat 6th Feb (10am to 3pm)

The Rochdale Field Naturalists' Society and the Friends of Prestwich Clough are also running wildlife related events during January. Details can be found on the GM Wildlife website
